The Reference Network of R+D+i on Theoretical and Computational Chemistry has 10 Supercomputing Centers from associated Universities, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Institutes of the Generalitat de Catalunya. This Supercomputing Centers provides the computational power and storage that scientists need to meet their research goals. Nevertheless, CESCA (Centre de Supercomputació de Catalunya), BSC (Barcelona Supercomputing Center) and CESGA (Centro de Supercomputación de Galicia) provide their supercomputing facilities for extremely large calculations.

The XRQTC is developing and deploying Grid infrastructure across all these centers in order to obtain a large scale grid in a highly collaborative research effort. All clusters will be connected to the Anella Científica (Science Ring)at 1 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s  for some centers.
